Abstract Light Effect
1) Create a new document. Press CTRL + D to reset the colors.
2) Choose your gradient tool. Change the blending mode to difference, and make sure
you have the Reflected Gradient tool selected. Make a couple of gradients...

...And you can just randomize a little bit untill you get something you like...

...I made about five gradients total...

...But you can make as many as you'd like...

...Just make sure you don't overcrowd your image...

...And there you go. That is what I've come up with.
3) Now duplicate your layer. Go to Edit > Transform > Rotate 180 degrees. Change
the blending mode to "Lighten".

4) Now you can add other effects to your image if you'd like, but this pretty much
concludes our tutorial... Here's what I've come up with:
